what is the best product to put on my redwood deck to preserve it?
I live in snow country. Last year I used Thompson’s Water Seal, but heard there is something better. Should I sand it at all before applying?

sanding is not necessary if the wood looks grey or sun bleached you can power wash it to get some color or life back to the look let it dry for 2 or 3 days then reseal it i heard thompson’s was pretty good
