is marijuana legal in humboldt county?
does the federal law differ than state and county laws?
i understand marijuana is technically illegal. in CA and everywhere in the U.S. (and most places around the world) . im hoping to hear from someone who lives out there. ive heard different things. you can have up to 25 plants, now dropped to 6? also ive heard to get a doc’s note to be able to buy "medical" marijuana is easier than it would seem.

Your talking about Ca. It’s illegal as hell. why would a county in Ca be any different.

Sigh. It should be noted that under federal law, marijuana is illegal in all 50 States.

Federal law means it’s a country wide law, hence it would be illegal in every state, every county, and every municipality. Why did I get a thumbs down? I’m right aren’t I?

If you are asking about Humboldt County, California (or anyplace in California, really):
No.
However, qualified medical marijuana patients and their caregivers have a defense to the use, possession, cultivation and transportation of marijuana to such a degree that it is virtually legal under state law.
As noted, federal law still makes it illegal, but the feds aren’t going to come bust you for a couple of joints.
Yes there is a difference in Calif., it is the medical marijuana laws. It makes all the little PD’s snivel. The problems are between the state and local
Too bad the locals can’t do s**t !
