A painting called The Clifford Inn By T. R. Way?
Hi, My grandparents have a steno graph (I think thats the word) of a painting called "The Clifford Inn" By T. R. Way. I have tried google with no sucsess in finding any information on this panting or artist. I love this painting dearly but my grandparents will sell it if it is worth something so I’ve been checking. I can’t figure out if it IS worth anything though. I can’t even find a picture of it. (Its a painting of a girl in a garden by big buildings) Many thanks to anyone who can help me find anything about this picture. (As you can tell I’m not that into art so I’m not that good at this looking for it thing.) Thank You!
Its Lithograph not a sterograph.

Hi, I’m not very familiar with his work but the artist’s full name, as far as I can tell, is the British artist Thomas Robert Way (unless there’s another T R Way floating around!) and there’s some links below to find out more about him. The only thing to be concerned about is if it’s a copy or an original. But if it’s an original, it could be good news.
You have to be a subscriber to view past auction results on one of the sites, but I see that on the http://www.artnet.com site one of his pieces, A Hillside Overlooking the Sea in Summer, was sold by Christie’s of New York, which, in case you didn’t know, is a major international auction house. Which means that it potentially is quite valuable. So I’d recommend taking it to an auctioneer/valuer to get more info on the artist and a price. Good luck!
