I go to a state myself. If humboldt state is a "commuter school" then i think its harder to make friends…but its still possible to make friends. Its just that they often leave to go home–so you can’t really hang out with them unless they are on campus and not in class.
If its not a commuter school then i think you will make a ton of friends. especially if you live in a dorm or in an apartment with alot of university students. That how i met all my friends im still friends with. Other than that you can meet people through sororities/frats, parties, and in class. it’s really all about your attitude on meeting new people..if you are warm and friendly then you are bound to make a ton of new friends.

As easy as any other University.. It’s really up to you to make friends..
