Are there significant Redwood Tree forests anywhere else in the world besides Northern California?
The Redwoods in Northern California are absolutely awesome. Are there any other groups of these ancient trees elsewhere in the world?

Sequoia are planted as ornamentals and grow very well in Scotland and in many parts of Europe.

Scotland has a famous grove of Sequoia at the House of Dun and an ornamental allee of sequoia in the Benmore Botanic Garden in Argyll.

Young plants representing the genetic range of the Sequoia is being tested for introduction in places with an appropriately foggy climate. The test plots are in USA, France, Spain, Britain, and New Zealand.
