September Wedding…?
My fiance’ and I are thinking about having a September ’09 wedding (rethinking our original plans due to our venue trying to cheat us), and I was wondering what colors would be acceptable. In our area, early September is still very green, flowers around, etc. Our new location would be at the garden of a local inn, and I was considering the classic-to-the-point-of-almost-being-cliche’ green, pale pink, white, and silver. Would that be alright?

If that’s what you and your fiance want then yes it’s fine. It’s your wedding do what makes you happy.

I don’t see why not, I mean it is not as if you are getting married on Labor Day. By the way, as to the flowers, you can even have beautiful roses in September, roses are available in bright pastel colors, even light shades of pink. If this place is what you have decided upon, best to find out if it is available now for the date you have in mind; and be sure to ask about availability of moving the wedding inside in the event of an unforeseen weather condition while outdoors near the garden. September is a lovely time of year, my birthday is actually then and less than five days before autumn begins.

I would go w/ what makes you happy.
Why not treat the September wedding as if it were a spring wedding? As you say it is still almost summer and many more Flowers will be in bloom as opposed to spring.
Try to coordinate the colors to take advantage of the natural colors of that time of year and those found in the garden.
Bring some of your own flowers in to tie the theme together.
Good Luck !
