Since you’ve already read Twilight, I suggest you read Meyer’s other novel entitled THE HOST. The book is sooooooooo GREAT. It’s about aliens but not just an ordinary story, of course Stephenie Meyer put so much amorousness to it. Love affair, I think, will always be a part of her stories. Maybe it’s hard for some to imagine story about aliens with a tweak of romance, but Meyer did it EXCEPTIONALLY just as her vampire love story. Yet, I believe, vampire love affair is a little more common.

The Host is very different from Twilight so I won’t say that one is better than the other. I know they are both excellent only that Twilight will be more appreciated and loved by young adults and The Host by adults, but Meyer’s fans will surely love both. Even I, a no booklover especially of sci-fi genre, became fond of it. And now I can’t get enough! I became in love of the characters, too. I am addicted to Ian O’Shea. And I am really, really hoping that this one will also come up with a movie.
