What to wear to Hilton job orientation?
I have to go to an orientation for a Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. They told me I will be looking over their handbook, filling out papers, and meeting some people. I live in a somewhat small city and I’m under the impression that I will be the only one there (because she said she had someone else coming at 2, so I would need to come at 3.) I’m planning on wearing black dress pants from Express, heels, and a short sleeve white button down with a belt attached to it. Is this alright?
I have to wear heels. I am 5’3" and otherwise my pants will drag the ground.

dress sort of casual. Like some nice jeans and a dressy shirt. A handbag and matching shoes would top it off

Why don’t you wear a t-shirt that says I Love Paris Hilton on it!

if you can… wear a skirt.. or suit with skirt… because for women this looks so professional..it makes a great impression.

I’d opt for a blouse and blazer over those black pants…

Yes I think that would be appropriate. The rule is you check out what the employees are wearing and if they are wearing a suit than you should wear a suit.

As long as it is formal and decent enough as a tailored suit suited for employment, it’s fine.

I think your plan is perfect Black dress pant go with everything and can look dressy casual without going overboard. I might nix the heels unless they are super comfortable as you are probably going to be walking (getting a tour) and sitting for awhile filling out paperwork and want to be comfortable. Remember you are presenting yourself for a job so you want to appear professional but since this is orientation you want to be comfortable so go for casual dressy and I think a blouse or sweater with your balck dress pants and light makeup is PERFECT!

Go for the power suit. Add a classy jacket and watch the heel height if you are wearing pants.

make sure the heels are quiet – you don’t want to announce to the whole world you are approaching when walking on hard surface floors. Wearing white after labor day is for either waiters/waitresses or business men with fall colored ties to compensate. — so be aware you could be mistaken for a waitress which is ok if that is the job you are applying for.. if not then maybe another color pants/shirt
that sounds really cute and professional.
you will look fine 🙂
good luck!!!
