Required paid vacation time in California?
In California if you work for an employer for a full year at 40 hours a week are they required to give you a weeks paid vacation time?

No. No one is required to pay you not to work – those are called "perks" or "fringe benefits" but are not governed by the law.

No, but most do. There is no law that states an employer must give either vacation time, or sick time.
Check it with the California Labor Law
