What would you do if you were me? USA VS Latin America?
Sometimes i am wondering what am i doing here in the northern part of the USA, yes for school but its so cold in here and when i see my Brazilian sisters and Peruvian sisters bodyboarding and having a blast, i ask myself, is this worth it?
But if i go back then the jobs are hard to come by….so i think how can i have my life back? like the life i had in Latin America?
I said to myself, finish graduate school and go to a southern states like California or visit Costa Rica.
What would you do? would you totally move there? or stay and go only on vacation?
the opportunities for a better job are here but life is not as good, also, there are good jobs in Latin America but hard to come by…..maybe something in the middle like the Bahamas? Or Puerto Rico would work for me?
Does it help if i say that i am in a small and boring city and is very cold but i am going to school too. But the city here is dead passed 10 PM and in Latin America the cities are so vivid all night long like Rio de Janeiro.
WHAT A WOMAN TO DO? WHATS BEST FOR ME?

@catherine, don’t take it personally but i am as trapped here as your ancestor were when they came.

Move to a more lively city. I’ve lived in the northern US for a large portion of my life and the sleepy towns aren’t all that bad. If you’re having such a difficult time deciding, go back. You aren’t "trapped here" you made a choice.
How much schooling do you have left? All I know is if you leave now, you will regret it forever not finishing school.
And jobs are plenty hard to come by in the US too.
I suggest finishing school and then moving to wherever you please.
I haven’t read up on how life is in Costa Rica or any of those places you want to live at, overall. So I can’t say anything about that.
But I believe you should stay and finish school, no matter how grueling the weather is.
