The campuses are completely different. None of them are going to have the campus environment you are invisioning. But they are all decent schools and have good things to offer.
Sad that your question doesn’t ask anything about the academics of the school.
Well, you could try going to UC Santa Cruz, if you want to party all the time- that school is notorious for it. Otherwise, all of these areas are great places to go to school and live- Humboldt is the home of the Redwood forests, and they get lots of rainy, but warm weather. Monterey is BEAUTIFUL- you have the mountains, and you have one of the prettiest natural harbors in the world, right at your doorstep there, plus all the other scenic and natural attractions in the area. If you want a place where you can be near the ocean all the time, Monterey is it. It’s cool there, and foggy a lot of the time, but there are sunny days. There aren’t many music venues, though. If you want that, go to Santa Cruz, which is further south.
I agree with the first poster- what a shame that you think only about partying, instead of academics and education. For most students, it’s usually the other way around. The purpose of going to college is to prepare for a career and to be able to get a good job, not to be a party animal. All the schools you mentioned have good academic programs, though.
