How to remove tree sap from car?
Hi,
<br><br>I have some tree sap on my car, both older (pretty dry) and some newer from a redwood tree.
<br><br>Any tips on how to remove it?

Have you tried Dawn? It got maple sap off our car. Otherwise, you can try Goo-Gone or Goof-off which both good at removing sticky stuff.

Neat washing up liquid then you can be assured that you are not damaging the car . Warm water washing up liquid and a bit of elbow grease will do the trick.

Bug and tar remover (or Dawn, Gasoline, … if you prefer) and a PLASTIC SPOON. I just got about a dozen spots off my wife’s car, many of which were pretty old. Nothing else worked. Didn’t scratch the paint at all.
