What places can I look up to live, in the Redwoods Northern California? And does it snow in the winter?
I want to see how much it is to rent a house or even buy one out there. I love the redwoods. Just not sure where to look up in the area online. I would like to live where it snows in the winter, anywhere redwoods it does? Also, anyone know (estimate) of how much rent is there for a house? Thanks for the help.
thanks. What would be a few areas I could look up to live near the redwoods, a beautiful affordable area?

any where along the northern California coast you will find redwoods there are several communities that are affordable. however no it doesn’t snow along the coastline of California but the good thing about California is that no matter where you live you are no more then a two hour drive from the snow during the winter.
There are redwoods in the Santa Cruz Mountains like Felton, Glen Ellen, Big Basin, Scotts Valley and Boulder Creek. In the Humboldt county redwoods, a small town called Phillipsville. There are more than one redwoods around northern California.
There is no snow in the redwoods because they are too near the coast but if you go further east to Mt. Shasta, or Lake Tahoe on the Nevada-California border there is snow in winter off Highway 50 or 80 there are many small towns which get snow in winter. These are not the redwoods but these are mountains and get snow.
