Humboldt state rumor, & others you have heard ?
I’ve heard that humboldt doesn’t really have a good admissions program & that they only offer clertain classes during fall/spring so that the students will take longer to graduate & will give the school more money. Is this true ?

Humbolt does not have a conspiracy against students to make them pay more money. No. What’s happened is that the entire Cal State system has been severely, severely hit but the Cali budget crisis. What they’ve had to do is cut class sections, only offer certain classes during certain terms, etc. But these things weren’t done to be evil to students. They were done because the school had no other choice.
So if you go to *any* community college in CA, or Cal State, or even UC, work closely with your advisor to plan out when you will take which classes, so you don’t mess up and NOT take that "English 101" class you need in the fall, and then have it not offered until the *next* fall, and end up delaying your graduation.

Geez do people seouirsly SHOOT at wind turbines???? My husband is a Wind Technician! Don’t they realize there are actual people working on them, walking around them, up inside them as they’re being fixed?! That scares me to think there are redneck psychos out there shootin’ at turbines that hardworking people are building and fixing each day. And what’s better for the earth is better for us all.
I’m currently a freshman at Humboldt State. It is a pretty easy school to get in to (I had plenty of other schools to choose from but I love it here).
You are right about certain classes only being offered in the fall/spring. The biology class that I wanted to take in the upcoming fall semester is only offered in the spring. But thankfully I still have a few semesters that I can take it in. But I don’t think that’s just Humboldt… I’m pretty sure that’s CSU system-wide because of all of the budget cuts.
