How can I replace my birth certificate?
I was born in Redwood City, California and I lost my Birth certificate but I need the original one for some reasons. Someone told me I can go to the Records centre and replace my birth certificate, but someone else said that I can replace it by going to my original hospital where I was born at. I went to the records centre in Redwood City but they said that they only give out court records. Where should I get my birth certificate from? Where can I get it from? What info do they need? please help!

Well, I lost mine in a fire, and I got mine at the Town Hall of the City that I was born in. You will need your social security card and a license or graduation certificate to prove who you are. Good luck!
