you have to be very very carful with rabbits; they have the most sensitive digestive system ever created; seriously, please ask a good vet or the house rabbit society. i take an excellent care of my bunny but still get problems, you cannot be too careful when it comes to bunnies, good luck, contact ONLY a very knowledgeable person on rabbits!
Redwood is a type of fir similar to the cedar. These types of wood should not be used for rabbits. Rabbits can have- apple wood(their favorite), maple, oak or ash. Make sure it is all natural and has not been treated in any way. Trees that have oily residue like pines and firs should be avoided as the oils can make the rabbit sick. Cedar shavings should also never be used for a rabbit as the fumes mixed with urine can cause respiratory infections.
