How do I travel to Humboldt State University(Arcata,CA) without driving?
I live in Southern California near Redondo Beach and driving to Arcata takes about 10 hrs. I know that there is a small airport from LAX to Arcata. But from there how to I get to the college? I’m not old enough to rent a car from the airport(you have to be 25year +) and getting a taxi is too expensive.

Arrive by Air
The Arcata/Eureka airport is about a ten minute drive from campus. It is serviced by United and Horizon/Alaska airlines.
There is a shuttle between the airport and campus:

Drive to Humboldt
Arcata lies along U.S. Highway 101. It takes about six hours to drive to Arcata from San Francisco or Sacramento. Watch for the Humboldt State University off-ramp and signs to the campus.

How about Amtrak to Redding and hitchike west on hiway 299-ends in Arcata.
Maybe you can call someone at the college and ask how you get there from the airport. Redondo is a long way from Humboldt county. Why do you want to go so far away?
You can try to ride-share with someone from Craigslist. People drive up the coast all the time.
