Tips for enjoying the REDWOODS? ? ?
Any grizzly bears gonna eat us if we go walking around out there?
Where are best places to really SEE the big trees? We’re family of 4 (Mom, Dad, 2 girls) heading down there soon.
Any advice? THANKS!

Jaymi, these are all great, the photos and the vaca tips. Having just been on one this smemur I guess I would add that it’s best to leave expectations at home…it leaves you wide open for opportunites and experiences to come in where they might not have.So jealous of that blue starfish!!

Eureka left with a LOI score of 418 out of a possible 500. Not bad, bhtreren! We’ll do better next year. Our thanks as always to the bhtreren of Newburgh Lodge for the meal and hospitality.
Go to Trees Of Mystery for a nice guided walk through big trees. Stay in Crecent City on the coast for cheap lodging and good food. Go through the SHerman Tree Tunnel. Everyone loves the tree tunnel!
