As far as landscaping goes… what kinds of flowers go well with redwood chips?
thanks!
wow you guys really know your stuff i did a search on them and they are nice flowers. So now i have one more question, the area i’m placing the red chips and flowers in is like 5×6 feet. How should i organize the flowers, should there be 3 groups of flowers? 2?

ooh sounds fun
probably a flowering plant with a contrasting color
maybe vinca or sweet allysum or some candytuft,
:] hope this helps
I really like daylillies with them. The cool grassy green foliage and the very reliable flowers really stand out in the wood chips. Try the easy to find and outstanding variety stella d’oro.
Also, if you choose to plant them and can wait until fall to do so, an excellent technique is to plant dafodil bulbs underneath the daylillies. They will grow right up through the roots and bloom first. Then when the leaves on the bulbs start to fade, the daylilly leaves are growing up and taking their place.
