Where can I see large Sequoia trees along Interstate 5?
I will drive tomorrow from San Francisco to Portland. Redwood Nat’l State Park seems to be the best place but it is too far away.

The trees are along highway US 101 and California 1,
not Interstate 5, which goes inland.
From San Francisco, taking highway 101 will
not be much greater distance, but it will take more time.
There are a few redwoods in Muir Woods, in Marin County,
but they don’t compare the giants farther north.
