How many 2-by-4's could I get from the world's tallest redwood?
Figured at 378 feet, this tree is one tall woody. I am going to need a bigger chainsaw, I think.

I read about the tallest Redwood, I think you are right about the feet. It is in the Redwood National Forest in Northern CA. The trees there have diameters of over 20 feet and is probably well over a 1000 years old.

okayyyy take that 378 ft tree, measure the circumferance(you didnt mention the diameter or circumferance), then figure the amt of board ft you could get….BUT you never mentioned how long the 2 by 4 was?
one example: 378ft tall with a 20 ft circumferance making it into 2 by 4’s 8 ft long…
roughly give or take a few, aprox 18,900

I don’t know how many 2X4’s, however you probably get at least 20 to 25 years.

I don’t know. but probably a dozen beaver with sore teeth -n- a few squirrels with no nuts
Some flowerchild would probably climb up that tree and stay indefinitely before anybody cuts it down. They also form a circle around the tree and handcuff or chain themselves together.
