Vacation at New York or California?
Me and my friend are planning on taking a trip, but we are unsure on where to go. Of course we have a budget, so we are planning on having a good time without spending too much money. The question is, should we visit New York or California, which places in each area are worth visiting?

Im not sure how New York is since i have never been, but living in California i love it here. not sure what you are looking to do. southern california is my favorite even though i live in Northern. the Oceans are great and disneyland is always a blast. plus in southern california you can cross over into mexico for a cheap little trip and cheap booze. as for northern cali San Fran is a lot of fun for about a day. then tahoe is beautiful if you go at the right time of year. there is much to do. hope this helps with the california side of things.

Since budget is your big concern and right now it is very hot and humid in NYC, so visit California and have fun and it is affordable, see NorCal in http://www.bayareavisit.com/besttrips.html
see SoCal in http://www.bayareavisit.com/LA.html
see NYC in http://www.bayareavisit.com/NYC.html

New York all the way. You can do so much for so little. Tons of museums for a little fee. Walk everywhere dont have to spend money on cabs or renting a car. and the subway is a small fee. walk around central park and see interesting things in the park. aquariums, madam tuseudos or whatever. you can even see a play for not that much, if you dont mind sitting in the way back which in most theaters doesnt matter u can see everything.

Here is my logic, since I assume you live in a cold winter location…
New York in the summer; California in the winter.
My brother is vacationing in Cali right now and he doesn’t want to leave. He says the weather is awesome and be sure to pack a jacket for the cool nights.
