Need help with living till we get settled. Please help.?
The story is that I just graduated from high school and my boyfriend and I are looking to move in together. But I live in Northern California for the time being and he is in the Marines and stationed in Camp Pendleton, San Diego. We are trying to move to a town called Fallbrook which is right outside the Base. Or at least somewhere close to there.
I have been looking for a job down here but we really want to move in together. We’ve been dating for 8 months and have only seen each other a hand full of times. As soon as I have a job and have some money coming in we will be able to get our own place. But until then we have no where to go. It would only take a month to two months tops for me to find a job and for us to find our own place.
We are trying to find an appartment or a room for rent but it is not working out how we planned.
So now I’m trying to find somewhere that maybe an older couple lives and goes out of town maybe taking an RV and living in it for vacation for a while and needs a house sitter. We are both very respectful and would leave the house exactly the way we found it.
I know this is a long shot but I thought it might be worth a try. If you know of someone that would be willing to take us in or if you know someone who needs a house sitter for a month or so you would be doing us such a huge favor. If you know anyone please feel free to contact me either on this or on fb or even call my cell phone. Just contact me on here first and then I will give you my further contact information.
Any help would be beyond appreciated. Thank you.

Does your bf rate living off base? Before he’s allowed to even move off base he has to be at least an E-4 (Corporal) and the barracks have to be 95% full. So before you bank on him being able to move off base and commute to work, make sure he actually fits the criteria to do it.
Right outside the base there are actually several apartment complexes. La Galiana De Cortez is the one the rings a bell right now. I know a 2 bedroom 2 bath is in the range of $900, so a 1 bed is probably around $800 or so. They work solely on month-to-month so there aren’t any leases, and they’re ideal for people with less than perfect credit.
Also in that area are Eucalyptus village, Sunset, and a few others, all packed in right off the base. Those are probably the cheapest.
Fallbrook doesn’t really have very many jobs. It’s a very small town. There’s an albertson’s that you could probably work at, as well as a blockbuster, CVS, Walgreens, Fresh and Easy (which I hear is a good place to work) and some other grocery stores.
If you’re looking specifically for a roommate, try getting on craigslist. You’re going to want to look under "San Diego" and then click on "NSD, North San Diego" and in the little search box under apartments/housing type in "fallbrook" and that will bring up all the rentals and shares in the fallbrook area
I was in the same situation as you. I am young and I have 2 kids and I am a single mother. My daughters cousin got me involved with this business and I really like it and it has been really good for me. They offer a car bonus, weekly pay, and health insurance. Please look over the links below and then contact me for any information or with any questions you may have. If you are sincerely interested I would love to work with you on builiding your business and getting everything started!
