Good Hiking Spots in Northern California?
I’m looking for good vacationing spots this winter when my sister and her boyfriend are visiting.
I’m looking for something new, and something that doesn’t have mass tourism involved. We’ve already been to Big Sur, Mammoth, Lake Tahoe, and the Red Woods. Anyone have any suggestions for places with big moutains, gaping lakes or lush forests? =)

I’m from NorCal, so maybe I can help. Perhaps Calaveras Big Trees.
I would recommend Squaw Valley in California. You could go on a hiking, climbing, skiing, and exploring in this place. A place where you, your sister, and her boyfriend will truly enjoy and have fun.
