If I have a California driver's license, can I LEGALLY leave my car at my vacation home in Wisconsin?
I have a vacation home in Wisconsin. All of my cars are registered in California and I have a CA driver’s license. If I left one of my cars at my vacation home in Wisconsin, would that be legal?

Yes, as long as you, the owner, call CA as your permanent residence.

Generally yes but you should check with the DMV in Wisconsin. Most states have a time limit on how long you can have an out of state registered vehicle in them. I’m sure that there is some form of waiver. You might also want to check the registration fees, I live in Cali and they just went up. My fees are nearly two times my payment and insurance for one month.
Yes
No local jurisdiction will have a beef, as long as you keep current plates on the car. I can think of a number of places that would give you grief, if you allow the plates to expire between visits.
