How long does it take for a pine forest to regrow?
If a company owned a pine forest, cut down the trees and then replanted the trees, how long before the new trees would be ready for harvest? What it it were a redwood forest?

Depends on their use. The lots that I reforested two years ago were for paper pulp. These lots were harvested every 40 years.
80 years or so for normal pine for telegraph poles
Redwood 200 – 300+
Hazel for firewood; charcoal; hedge & fencing material every 7- 10 years which is why the same trees in coppiced woodlands sustained London for centuries until coal was subsidized.
