What do you use to make a gym mat stick to a hard wood floor?
We have a thick gym mat in our playroom, which has hard wood floors (brazilian redwood). It provides safety for a platform swing, but moves around when my son swings. How can I make it stay put, while not harming the hard wood floors? If it’s a product, the source to buy it would be great!
Thanks.

I would use Velcro strips. Have a great holiday.

This is just a guess, but I’d try simple first. Try using hair spray on the mat. Test it first in a corner somewhere first.

They make and sell carpet tape.Stickey on both sides. And it can be removed from floor later on without any damage to floor or mat.

Hey lady,1. My fallback Halloween cosutme is a toga with cut-up slinkies sewn all over it (SaraToga Springs!! Thank you, thank you, I’ll be here all day.)2.Please do! I have a couple of Gelati pics but I think I’m missing one. Should have done that one the summer.3. Just find a superhero who hikes and then he can get the appropriate cosutme and he’ll be way into it. ;-0
They make this thin, rubber like mat to hold area rugs in place on hardwood floors. Put the mat down then the rug on top of it. It has traction for both the floor and the rug and holds it in place. It should work just as good with a gym mat.
Walmart sells them in the bath goods section.
