Who here is going to vacation in California instead of Louisiana because of BP's oil spill?
Good thing California put a moratorium on offshore drilling eh?
Now they get to enjoy their beaches and swim in their water while Louisianan’s are cleaning up the oil off their beaches and getting sick from the waters.
This is what happens when you vote Republicans who always put corporate interests over people.
I’m sorry but isn’t Jindel a Republican governor and David Vitter a senator, both from the state of Louisiana? How come their asking President Obama to lift the moratorium on offshore drilling again?
California would never tolerate this.
I’m not from California.

I wouldn’t go to California if you paid me. I plan to go to Arizona and celebrate their freedoms.

Not me, I’d rather be coated in oil than give my money to that idiotic state.
I’m with the rest, let’s go to AZ.

I’m boycotting California because LAX and SFO are sanctuary cities.

I am still dumbfounded that BP was allowed to drill, by Bush’s Dept. of Interior, without having any contingency plan in place.
How is that possible?

Sh*t, I hadn’t thought of that. Good point. Too bad it’ll be lost on pretty much everyone here.
edit: Yep, I was right. They saw the names of two states in the title, so stemming from their countless hours of Fox News brainwashing, all they can do is parrot how much they love Arizona (which has nothing at all to do with your question, but I’m pretty sure none of them fully comprehended it anyway).

I won’t be vacationing because I’ll be working. And I would rather vacation in a pit of gators, than vacation in California.

Sorry. I’ve been personally boycotting kali-fork-in-ya for a couple of decades now. Besides, they’re broke from all the illegals that they have to support.

I would not vacation in Louisiana, but I would not mind going to Florida.
Oops, the Oil is going there too, so I guess I will just stay home and take it easy.

I’d rather drink the oily water than spend a farthing in california. I pray everyday for the bigone to drop that poop pile into the ocean. Oh and BTW, most of SoCal gasoline comes from those Gulf oil wells. I think maybe they should stop selling ga to California.

Yeah, all those vacationers are REALLY gonna help your state get out of debt huh? Keep hoping that luck throws you lifesaver. Even the worst oil spill in our nation’s history isn’t as bad as the financial blackhole your state created. Good luck getting out alive.

People generally don’t go to Louisiana for the beaches. There are too many other states with better beaches…South Carolina, Florida, Texas, California…etc. Hell, even Jersey has better beaches.
People go to Louisiana to party and get laid.
Personally I’m not a fan of either state (Louisiana or California).
*EDIT* "This is what happens when you vote Republican"??? WHAT??? You do realize that Louisiana is traditionally a Democrat state, right?

Neither. There are plenty of beaches on the east coast that are not only much closer to home they are less crowded and less expensive to visit.
That is if I wanted to visit a beach.
This year, we are vacationing in Wisconsin Dells (waterpark capital of the world!!), and to Mackinac Island later in the summer.
Next year, there is a spring training vacation planned in Arizona – a week and a half of baseball and fun, not to mention visiting the brother in law.
Why in the hell would anyone go to California??
