What is the best way to stain the exterior of my wood home?
It is redwood and 2 stories tall. Is a brush , roller or a spray application best and easiest.

Spray followed with back rolling is best. Just rolling may (or may not) leave darker spots at overlaps. Be sure to tarp everything that is likely to have over spray on it. It’s very messy.

Redwood..and sequoia gveros are serene spaces, are they not? Just think when and if the reform programs of GOP-TP hero Paul Ryan go through, the parks where most of big trees are found will be closed, and privately owned and operated probably by chinese developers, or Google Inc. (aka the Russian mafia).
It depends. Spraying stain is very tricky, because of the viscosity of it, and you need a day that has absolutely no wind. You have to cover everything really well also. I’ve rolled it on, but it is also a little messy that way. With a brush, although it may not be the easiest, you have the greatest amount of control, and I feel the stain penetrates better that way as well, and you will not have to reapply as often.
