If I want to go to California on vacation, what is the best city to see?
I can’t decide whether I want to see Los Angeles, San Francisco, or San Diego. I’m interested in a place with wonderful restaurants and great (but not too expensive) shopping.

I’m not from there but when I went with my family we explored southern region of California and we came across this cute little town San Pedro. It is close to quite a few cute beaches, Hollywood, there are malls close by, hotels and the people are so nice!

There is no doubt…the bay area is your answer. So much more to do than southern California. Of course contact the chamber, but also go shop on Salano Ave in Berkley, go to the Sea Aquarium, Ride Bart under the bay and take a ferry back, Visit the Wine country. Rent a car and drive to the Gold Fields, Take in a show in San Francisco, Eat at Joe’s crab shack, Drive down Lombard Street, go to China Town, eat in exotic restaurants, Ride a cable car, Eat at Cliff house and listen to the seals bellow and yelp, Go to Fisherman’s Warf, Drive north on the Coast highway after crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, take the bay cruise and visit alcatraz. The list goes on and on…there is no question… The Bay Area is your answer. I have been to it all in California – Dan Diego to Crescent City, Go to the Bay area no doubt.

San francisco is great fun
That is were we went on our Honeymoon
I would go back
San Diego is a lot of fun, if you want more beach
If you want famous things, than LA
I would pick San Francisco out of the three
You could do both LA and San diego

You’ve really captured all the essletians in this subject area, haven’t you?
Well, if you want to eat, San Francisco I found best: fisherman’s wharf, china town, the nut tree. Be sure to try the Bouillabaisse at the wharf. (I’ve never had something that good) but don’t go across the bay to Saucsalito to get it. From San Fran go south on HIGHWAY ONE to Los Angeles to Disneyland. The sights along the way are nurmerous, if you don’t spend all your time in San Francisco.
