What kind of bark mulch would be best for a snake (king)? I know cedar, redwood and pine aren’t good for snakes, or anything with added chemicals. I’m looking for a cheaper alternative to the shavings you get at the pet store. Any suggestions?

I am planning to attend a community college in California for two years before transferring to another school. The transfer schools that I am interested in are highly competitive (UC Berkley, Stanford, UCLA etc…) and I am aware of the statistics. The community colleges that I am looking into are De Anza (Cupertino) and Cañada College (Redwood City). If you have attended either school, what was your experience like? Anyone have any other CC’s in the area to suggest? Thank you!

I live in the bay area, redwood city to be exact. And I was wondering if anyone knew how much it cost to be married in a courthouse close by here? I’d appreciate if you can just give me the cost and where, maybe a website I can go for info. Otherwise don’t leave any don’t marry, divorces are more expensive etc.. thanks:)

That is where we are headed. For example, did enviromentalists kill the nuclear industry? No. Plants still operate. The timber industry? Maybe only redwood trees but they saved the spotted owl. What about farming? Maybe some higher prices but still OK. What about metals, gold etc. Still going strong?

When will people wake up and stand up for a species? We can’t make a species but we can rebuild industries.

I have looked at different sites on google, but they each have different lists. Also, none of them have the Northern lights, the Redwood Forest, or Niagara Falls and i thought those 3 were part of the 7.

I visited the Redwood Forest once, and have always wondered why they grew to be so tall.
