Q about the "Must be 21 to check in to the Hotel" rule.?

On my honeymoon I will be 20 and my fiancee will be 21. The hotel I’m looking at (Hilton Garden Inn Times Square) says "Must be 21 to check in"

Does this mean that I will not be able to stay there since I’m 20, or does it just mean that my fiancee has to be the one to check us in?

Humboldt choirs?

I was accepted into Humboldt State University and I’m very exicted! Well, I was wondering if the choirs there were good? I don’t mean a run of a mill choir, but a really good one? I’ve been singing in choirs for most of my life, so I would love to continue doing that.

Where should my boyfriend and I go for winter vacation? (California)?

My boyfriend want to get away from everything for maybe 2 or 3 days and take a little vacation. We live in southern California and we probably don’t want to drive more than a few hours away.

What sort of things could we do? I suggested snowboarding, but he has a phobia of being strapped down to things that he can’t jump off of like rollercoasters and stuff. So I’m thinking maybe something a little more relaxing? Or just something different? But I would LOVE to go somewhere and be in the snow.

And preferably something not *too* expensive, since we’re probably splitting the cost and he’s sorta broke right now.

"Better Homes and Gardens" Pastry Recipe, 2001?

Does anyone have any recommendations for finding an older 2001 issue of Better Homes and Gardens? I’m looking for a Pastry recipe featured in one of the issues (with the 1785 Inn Buleberry Pie) and none of the libraries in my area carry the older issues.

I know you can sign-up and log onto the site but I don’t see the logic in paying an annual subscription for just one recipe. Any thoughts or recommendations?
I’m amazed how quickly one can find answers online with so many experts. I sincerely thank you. I’ll give the recipe a try.
