My friend and i are planning a trip, How far is it from Knotts Berry Farm Amusement park to the Redwood trees? (and by Redwood Trees i mean like a tourist place where we can Zipline, walk through the forest, ect.)
We want to go to Huntington Beach, Knotts Berry Farm, DisneyLand, and the Redwood Trees?

Any of them? All of them? Specific ones?

I know that the climate here is different from northern California, but I would like to give it a shot if possible.

I am building a pergola, live in the mountain west so cold winter, warm summer. I want to paint the pergola white so do I still need to use Redwood or Cedar or can I buy regular Doug Fir or Pine, and prime it really good. I’ve been told that I need to prime it either way, so why pay double the prices for Redwood if the primer and exterior paint will seal the wood from weather and insects. Thanks for your help!!
