Where is a good place to go for a quiet vacation?
Marcianise I’d like to go on vacation around Thanksgiving time. I live in Northern California and would like to spend some time on a beach or a snowy lake or something. Does anyone have any suggestions on where is good?

You might head up to the San Juan Islands….I’ve just been looking at some websites from there and it sounds really nice, and I discovered that the weather in the San Juans has only half the rainfall of Seattle because of the geography of the area. They are suppose to get about 250 sunny days a year, and there are lots of beaches and things to do, check out some of these sites:
