So I am going to San Diego to visit my boyfriend in the Navy and we are staying in a hotel near the Gaslamp in Downtown. I wanna make this trip memorable and do not want to deal with a bad hotel stay. So I’m choosing between Porto Vista and Best Western Cabrillo Garden Inn. Porto Vista have rating of 3.1 while Best Western have 4.2

Also, if anyone knows if Porto Vista have complimentary breakfast included…It doesnt say on their site and some say they do while some say they dont in the reviews. Thanks ;D

I’ve been planning on applying to HSU for awhile now,i found out about Humboldt awhile back and from everything i’ve heard it sounds great but i want to hear it from somebody first hand who’s been there. My husband and I are wanting book a 7 day stay in New York City, and wanted flight and hotel covered. We live in Northern California (about 2 hours from the Oregon border) and I would like to know if anyone knows how much it would be to go through a travel agent? Is their cost added into the cost of the package with the flight and hotel? Or do they get a commission on booking vacation packages, and thats how they get paid, so there would be no money coming out on my end?

A sixth grade teacher read a book to us in class about a tree–a redwood if I’m not mistaken. I don’t remember much about it, but I believe the tree was magical or had some special purpose or power. I think the characters in the book were trying to save or protect the tree.
