The USDA’s system of classification is completely outdated. Plant classifications are still in flux due to new findings using DNA and other new technology. The best I can do for you is as follows:
Domain Eukarya
Kingdom Plantae
Phylum Coniferophyta (some say Pinophyta here)
Class Pinopsida
Order Pinales
Family Cupressaceae
Genus _Sequoia_
Species _Sequoia_ sempervirens_
Other plant taxonomists may have valid reasons to disagree with me on the status of each of the levels of classification represented here. Just a reminder.. in a recent University study, 16% of the information on Wikipedia checked out to be incorrect.
Edit: Made one spelling correction and expanded on Phylum.

The "correct" classification of an organism is often a matter of opinion; it’s how one interprets the available data. Many botanists would place the Redwood in the Taxodiaceae family rather than the Cupressaceae.
Kingdom: Plantae (Plants)
Subkingdom: Tracheobionta (Vascular plants)
Superdivision: Spermatophyta (Seed plants)
Division: Coniferophyta (Conifers)
Class: Pinopsida
Order: Pinales
Family: Cupressaceae (Cypress family)
Genus: Sequoia (redwood)
