What do you think of this wedding ring for my *husband* (!! I'm so excited to say that!!)?

I found two that are similar, and I want to know which you like better.

The reason I like these rings so much is twofold – the metals they are made of (titanium and tungsten) are indestructable (especially tungsten), just like my love for him. Plus, he’s really active and would break/bend a gold ring. Second reason I like them is the woods they incorporate – redwood *responsibly harvested* is the oldest living thing on the earth – symbolizing longevity and permanence – ditto with the romantic meanings there. The ancient kauri wood is a similar thing – the wood has endured for 50,000 years…shows how endless my love for him is…

Do you like these? Do you agree with the sentiments/symbolism? Do you think he would like it?

I’m a total mushball…I know….:D

What is the difference between a redwood, a sequoia and a cedar? And yes, I know that a sequoia is a type of?

redwood, but how many types of redwoods are there and how do you tell them apart?
I guess what I am asking is when I look at a tree, how can I tell if it is a redwood, sequoia, or cedar as they all have red trunks

Any advice for someone going to NY?

I’ll be in NY for a almost 2 days, and I want to see some of the city. The hotel I’m staying at is the Hilton Garden Inn at the JFK Airport, which is a good distance away from attractions and sites. Some people say to just use the Airtran to get down there, b/c it’s cheaper. I would like to take one of those tours if possible. How do I go about booking one? Any suggestions? Also, do you think it’s just better to take the Airtran or a shuttle downtown?
