The reason I like these rings so much is twofold – the metals they are made of (titanium and tungsten) are indestructable (especially tungsten), just like my love for him. Plus, he’s really active and would break/bend a gold ring. Second reason I like them is the woods they incorporate – redwood *responsibly harvested* is the oldest living thing on the earth – symbolizing longevity and permanence – ditto with the romantic meanings there. The ancient kauri wood is a similar thing – the wood has endured for 50,000 years…shows how endless my love for him is…

I’ll be in NY for a almost 2 days, and I want to see some of the city. The hotel I’m staying at is the Hilton Garden Inn at the JFK Airport, which is a good distance away from attractions and sites.
