I am going too California any strange but fun things to go. Something you cant find in a pamplet?
California is where all the funs at! But I am not the type of person who just plans stuff and does things that aren’t that diffrent. I want too hear yalls personal experinces on cool things you did in Cali. That just can’t be found on a weebsite. Cool and Diffrent places.

Depends on what part of California your going too,
Its a variety of culture, and diversity.
From the Desert to the Redwoods.
I need to know more specific area….lol
Have fun
Start by hanging out and making friends in Venice Beach, Haight-Ashbury (San Francisco), Berkeley and Santa Cruz and just meet interesting people. Let it flow. See where they take you. Those are probably the most obviously "Californian" communities and you will meet cool people and have interesting conversations.
You should also check out places like:
* Museum of Jurassic Technology (look it up online)
* Museum of Death in Hollywood
* watch a movie in Hollywood Forever Cemetery (look up Cinespia)
* Winchester Mystery House flashlight tour
* Esotouric Tours in LA (take you to weird places)
* Necromance on Melrose in LA (pleasantly strange store)
* Wumpskate (gothic rollerskating; i’m not kidding)
* one of the ghost towns like Bodie or Calico
* definately don’t miss Amoeba Music (California’s favorite independent record store with locations in Hollywood, San Francisco, and Berkeley)- you can find ANY cd or movie and they have free concerts and events
if you want nature:
* Muir Woods (redwood forest that’s dark and damp and beautiful)
* Catalina Island (secluded island escape near LA)
* Joshua Tree Park (makes you feel like you are in a Dr Seuss book)
* anywhere along the coast (California’s coastline is gorgeous whether you want to surf, swim, hike, etc) I especially recommend Leo Carrillo Beach, Pismo Beach, Stinson Beach, and Border Field Beach (on the border with Mexico)
* if you go in winter, it’s possible to ski/snowboard and surf in the same day (the beaches in LA are just a couple hours from ski resorts in the San Gabriel mountains)
