Yes, by virtue of being born on US soil, you are a US citizen.

Yes, you are both Canadian and American and can have passports from both countries. As a US Citizen you are required to use a US passport to enter and leave the US. As a US Citizen you must file income tax returns even though living in another country; but your first $85K of income is exempt and the US will credit you for taxes paid to Canada. On the other hand Canada does not require citizens to use a passport just carry your citizenship card and you don’t have to pay Canadian tax while in the US.
Your children born ousidet of Canada however will NOT be Canadian citizens, and unless you spend at least five years i the US after the age of 14 you cannot pass your US citizenship on to them either. Your children will only get citizenship based on the country where they are born.
