I don’t necessarily need to drive to Redwood National park, do I?

Im talking about both fast food restaurants and other restaurants like chili’s, olive garden, pizza inn and so and so. I ask because i will be working at a restaurant as a lonely cashier lol however i just thought like what if i actually like the fast food business (this will be my first restaurant job as a cashier, well as a cashier period, i have mostly worked in warehouses). But what if i like it enough to stay there even after i finish my classes at college. What if i work hard and stay there and if the opportunity comes to become a manager take it. How much do managers make an hour, a year? And i dont’ mean to just stay as a manager im talking about going up the food chain like general manager and so and and so on. So how would i do that especially if i work there already. I will be working for pizza inn if that helps. Is there anyone here who is a manager or tell me how you got started in the food business?

I am going to spend a couple days in CA and I would like to go to teh Redwood National Forest.
Where is it located?

How are the dorms?
How is the campus (how does it look? I heard it was dirty…?)
How are the classes/ etc.

I am going on a road trip from Fort Worth, Tx through the west coast visiting; Mesa Verde NP in Colorado- Arches NP,Bryce Canyon, & Zion NP in Utah-Grand Canyon NP in Arizona- Las Vegas in Nevada- Los Angeles, Yosemite NP, San Fransisco Area, & Redwood NP in California- Mt Rainier NP & Seattle in Washington- Glacier NP in Montana- Yellowstone NP in Wyoming- Mount Rushmore NP & then a long drive back home. I want to know any place I really should stop along the way like oddities, great vegetarian restaurants, parks, waterfalls, vintage clothing stores, cheap neat things, great views, museums and whatever else. Remember this is a road trip so it doesn’t need to actually be there places along the way are great too. This is a lot of work trying to find things to do places to go I am counting on you to help me out. Oh! and I am traveling with two teenagers so that would be a good thing to keep in mind. i love Humboldt State University. I cannot imagine myself going anywhere else. I LOVE the Redwood forest. its paradise to me. i love the rain and the community there.
BUT EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE WORLD THINKS I WANT TO GO THERE FOR WEEED!its so frustrating %$#$@@
