Is it funner to go on a vacation to florida or california? What is there to do at each of them besides disney land and world?

Assuming I would be involved in a lot extra curricular activities and have a good GPA. The grad schools I am interested in are UCLA, UCSC, Berkley, and Santa Clara.

Yes when the sun comes out it the weather can be hell, but How is Florida called the sunshine state when Its the lightning capital of the world and humid. Not to mention, it would be shining for a little in the summer days and then it starts to rain with thunder and lightning. The weather messed up my vacation there. I’m from Cali, and i’m not just saying this because i’m from there but if anything california should be called the sunshine state. Its not always sunny, but still. Los angeles ,san diego weather is great. So is Northern California, but not all the time. i’d say Most of the time. Maybe because im not used to florida, but their weather is HORRIBLE. i’m sorry to the people that do like florida’s weather. I was just amazed when i heard Florida was called the sunshine state. Do you think Florida should be called the sunshine state? I mean i cant change it or do anything about there nickname but i just was wowed.

Let me start off by asking what the hell is a White Elephant Gift exchange?

Ok so it’s a holiday party for the company that my significant other works at and it’s at a hilton garden inn and it’s suppose to be holiday attire…when you say holiday attire what does that mean to you? … and each couple of suppose to bring a white elephant gift….what’s a white elephant gift? and what would you get for a white elephant gift?

I have a big redwood in my backyard and want to start another one. How should I do it? Plant a seed in a cup and keep in my greenhouse window? Cut a branch off and plant it in the ground? There are some green "spouts" coming from the root base at the bottom of the trunk, will those work?

A few close girlfriends and I are trying to go on a vacation to california probably around March or April. I’ve never been yet, but I’m so excited to finally get to go! They’ve flown into Long Beach Airport before– which is where we’ll probably fly into again. Does anyone have suggestions on what we should do during our vacation? Best beach? Hotel? Nightclub? Restaurant? (Oh, and what’s the weather like around then?) When I leave I want to feel like I’ve had the full out California experience. 🙂

Hey, i’m considering going to Humboldt University, and I was wondering what the weather is like? I’m used to weather in Washington (cold, grey, rainy), but I love the sun. Is it usually sunny there?

My X-Box had the three red rings and so I sent a repair request to Microsoft on Dec. 14th . The repair check status on my X-Box says that the repair is currently in repair . It has said that for the last three to four days . I live in Northern California and I was wondering how long it would be before my X-Box got sent back . I heard that Microsoft takes a vacation around this year because of Christmas and New Years so with all that in mind I would like to know approximately how long it would take until it gets sent back . Any help would be great , thankyou 😉
