Family Vacation Ideas Please!?
Okay, so I’m trying to plan a last minute vacation before football season starts (my husband is a coach). Can anyone recommend a fun vacation spot for me, my son (8) and my husband. I want something other then Disneyland. Somewhere somebody has been and can highly recommend. We’re trying to go somewhere the week of the 30th. Any suggestions are welcomed. Oh and I live in Northern California, but any suggestions are welcomed.

I am going to be in town for a weekend and some Tigers games. I was thinking about trying to find a library with a LARGE mathematics section to visit on Saturday before the game. Or is there another library closer that would have a nice sized math section that a univeristy would have?

What to take on an 11 day vacation to the beach in California?
Hi I am going to Pismo Beach California in the end of may and the begining of june. I will be doing plenty of shopping and sun tanning. What all should I pack for this trip. I am already buying some new bikinis, butI am stumped on what i will need and what to put in my actual suitcase. And I am not flying I am going in an RV with family. Thanks
How can you tell if your lawn is overwatered?
We just installed new sod a few days ago in Northern California. We’ve been watering it according to recommendations (3 times a day, one inch of water each time). But, it’s got tinges of yellow at the base of the blades and want to make sure it won’t get worse. We’re going away on vacation next week and want to make sure we don’t return to a dead lawn!
Can someone explain why humboldt county gets so foggy?

There was no other way that I could find to respond to your answer, so I’ll do it hear. I understand your answer, but I was asking specifically about humboldt county. Wouldn’t the arctic air mass that comes down here be colder than the water it passes over, or the land that it passes over?
