lots of things to consider–where are you, how far do you plan to travel, how many in the family, what are the ages, what does the family want to do for this? sight see, activities, fishing, boating, swimming? etc? lots of things to consider besides the money
You may be able to fit in a trip to Glacier Ntnl. park in Montana or Yellowstone if you live close enough. Glacier is more unheard of and remote – very cool place. There is also Gatlinburg, TN which is good for a week long stay. Olympia state park in Washington is nice, as well as the Redwoods. Then of course there are the countless beaches you could go to. It just depends on where you live.
