I live in northern california an hour away from sacramento and san francisco. Right now i am going to southern california for vacation. Are there any good places in either of these areas to buy fake oakleys cheap or buy them cheaply online?
Like the Angeles National Forest. It’s not a forest. It’s filled with shrub, rocks, dried sand. It’s ugly. Trees in southern california are ugly. you have to go to northern california to see those beautiful redwoods.
I live in Southern California where it gets quite warm, the type of Redwood I have is a Coast Redwood.
My boyfriend want to get away from everything for maybe 2 or 3 days and take a little vacation. We live in southern California and we probably don’t want to drive more than a few hours away.
What sort of things could we do? I suggested snowboarding, but he has a phobia of being strapped down to things that he can’t jump off of like rollercoasters and stuff. So I’m thinking maybe something a little more relaxing? Or just something different? But I would LOVE to go somewhere and be in the snow.
And preferably something not *too* expensive, since we’re probably splitting the cost and he’s sorta broke right now.
traveling for a week from Iowa, want to see all of the main attractions of Southern California such as the beach (suggestions please?), Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Staples Center, Disneyland, etc. Where would be a good central and safe location to stay that would be convenient to most of these destinations? Also if you have any tips or ideas on visiting that area please let me know!
Thanks!
I’m going to Southern California this summer and I need suggestions for places to go, things to see, tours to take, etc. Know of any good resturaunts, shops, and sights? Thanks for your help.
I am 15 and live in Northern California. I just met a girl, 14, from Southern California. She is my cousins friend and came on vacation with her. We hung out one night, with the others, but I got her number and like her a lot. I can’t stop thinking about her and I don’t need "you are too young or something like that". I am visiting my cousin in a few months but I want to do something now. I don’t think she likes me the same way though. Please help.
We are looking for a place for our wedding sometime next year and could use some help finding a location. Here are some of our wants/needs and specifics.
-We want to get married ON a beach.
-Southern California would be ideal but I also love more northern beach towns such as Monterrey and Half Moon Bay(but the weather isn’t as warm)
-It’ll be a small wedding, less that 50 for sure
-Our first choice would be to get married on a private or secluded beach, not a public one because we want it to feel more intimate and would rather not have strangers doing god knows what in our wedding pictures.
-We do have a flexible budget so private resort beaches are a possibility.
And the second part of this question is our other idea…
We like the idea of having the reception at a vacation rental house, like one of those great homes with the big rooftop or otherwise balcony with the views of the ocean. And again, it is going to be a small wedding so there won’t be that many people. This could also take care of providing our family and/or wedding party with a place to stay.
Also, if we found a place like this that was not near a private beach we’d be willing to get married on a public one.
We are in Arizona so it is possible for us to go out there and check stuff out and do tours before the wedding but right now I have no clue where to start looking!
Any advice would be appreciated.
Okay, well the day after Christmas, I am driving down to Anaheim to go to Disneyland. I am not sure if I am going to Disneyland for 1 or 2 days, but I’ll be in Southern California for about 5 days. Besides Disneyland, what are some good restaurants or places I can do at night. I’ve been to Anaheim like 6 times already, but maybe I’m missing some places. Here are some places I’m expecting to go.
-The Block of Orange
-UCLA (hopefully my future college)
-La Brea Tar Pits
-Disneyland
At disneyland, I need to overcome my fear. It will be my first time going to the California Adventures park and I really want to go on the Tower of Terror ride (the big elevator building). I am scared to ride it. I love rollercoasters, but I just can’t see myself on the dropping rides. Since I live in northern california, I’ve been to Great America many times, rode every ride except for Drop Zone. I’m too scared. Tell me what it’s like to ride the Tower of Terror.
P.S. I’m 12 using my aunts account, so please list kid friendly places. Thank you!
