Hotels Question, What's your favorite and why?

Good Evening! I’m a senior college student conducting a research project on hotels and consumers. If you would take a short minute or so to answer these questions I would be extremely grateful!

Out of these hotel chains:

Hiltons (Doubletree, Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood suites, Waldorf Astoria)
Choice Hotels (Comfort Inn & Suites, Quality Inn, Sleep Inn, Clarion)
Marriott (Ritz Carlton, JW Marriott, Springhill Suites, Courtyard, Fairfield Inn)
Wyndham (Wingate, Hawthorne Suites, Days Inn, Ramada, Super 8, Microtel)
Intercontinental Hotels Group (Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Candlewood Suites)

1. Which brand do you prefer and why?
2. What’s your typical reason for stay? Business, Leisure?
3. How do you search for information on these hotels?

If you could help and just offer a bit of background info, maybe where you’re from, age, race, education level etc.

**This research will be used for my Marketing Research Course**

Staying in midtown nyc with my GF for first time. I'm 23 she is 22. Not too sure where to go?

I am staying in midtown nyc with my girl for first time. I’m 23 she is 22. Not too sure where to go? I know I wanna take her to dinner.But dont really know any spots. Then im not too sure we love to party so id like to find a cool bar or lounge for after dinner?

We live in central jersey so the city isnt overwhelming, I just havent gone on any dates there. We are staying at Hilton Garden Inn New York/West 35th Street, and we will be there friday night the 1st of october.

any suggestions

Roomsaver giving out coupons that Hilton will not honor?

I recently went to roomsaver.com to find coupons for a trip to South Padre Island. I found one coupon for the Hilton Garden Inn for .99 per night based on double occupancy and on a walk in basis. I presented the coupon to the desk clerk and before even seeing the coupon she said "that is not our coupon and we did not authorize it nor will we accept it". She then told me to call the main office for Hilton Hotels which I did. The woman on the phone for Hilton said that I would have to contact roomsaver if the hotel I was at refused to honor the coupon. Roomsaver checked into it and called me back telling me that they had made a mistake and that it was too bad but nothing could be done. I was furrious that they had lured me into a 0.00 per night room with a great coupon and she said that the coupons encourage you to call ahead and make sure the rooms are available but they did not, it stated that it was on a walk in basis only and that you could call for reservations at a different rate. Do not trust Roomsaver.com for your room coupons or Hilton to honor them. Is there anything that I can do since I was seriously put out for our family vacation? I did not stay at the Hilton by the way, we went down to the La Copa Inn and had a very pleasant stay at a little less per night.

Should i book a city view or evolution room?

My family and i are going on vacation to Atlanta. I am looking at booking a room in the Hilton Garden Inn on Baker Street. I was wondering if i should book a city view or evolution room. Any answers are greatly appreciated thanks

Is there an outside pool at Hilton Garden at Louisville KY?

Well, Me and my family are gonna go down to Louisville, Kentucky for a week, and were staying at Hilton Garden Inn. And I was just searching but I couldn’t find it…But does the Hilton Garden Inn at Louisville, Kentucky have an outside pool?

what is the hourly pay for food and beverage worker?

i just received a call about a position at hilton garden inn for food and beverage. how much does this position pay hourly? is it the same pay as a server would get. server’s were i live get paid -4 a hour. i live in ma
when you are a server – a hour is legal because you get tips too

Expedia say this, but hotel pesonnels don't know anything about it? Are they lying?

I booked a room for two nights at one of the Hilton Garden Inn’s in Toronto last week through Expedia.com. The online booking said free breakfast is included. However, when I arrived at the hotel, the front desk people said they knew nothing about the free breakfast and argued with me. I don’t know if they were lying or what (regardless they shouldn’t have argued with a customer.) I later connected to the Internet and printed my receipt on Expedia so that I could prove that I wasn’t lying. They then gave me the voucher for the breakfast. What’s the deal about this?
