Im 15. My family is trying to find a place to take a vacation but we dont know where to go. My dad has enough air miles from business trips that we can fly about anywhere in the US except hawaii for free, which is pretty cool. Without those miles we couldnt afford a trip by air.
So the thing is, we are looking for a place with great sights. Not tons of people. A few years ago we went to northern california which was great. The coast there was amazing. And also we went up to new york, phili, maine, all that by driving.

We only have about 2 ideas for places to go…Washington (state) and Florida…We cant get out of the country though so dont say that.

So.. List where you would want to go in the U.S. and Why?

Last spring break my family got 5 free round trip tickets because American Airlines gave away our seats (hate that airline) The ages of the people going are 47 (my dad) 64 (my grandma) 16, 14, and 10 (me and my sisters). My dad doesnt want to go to the Los Angeles area. They probably want to go to a beach but I’d be more interested in a city. Is there a nice family friendly city in california near a beach? Or a beach with good shopping or near a city.
(also im not interested in going to the redwoods or anything historical)

I’m going on vacation to Lake Tahoe for a week. And I’m also going to Reno and the Redwoods. My dad said its going to be fun but does anyone know how much fun Lake Tahoe, Reno, and the Redwoods are. Should I be really excited because I’ve never been there? Also I live in New Jersey and the plane ride is about six hours so what are the chances of my plane crashing? And what are the chances that it doesn’t? I just want to know stuff about that.
But in Jersey i live in one of the nicest towns there. like i dont live in a gross part. not like the city.

I want to do my birthday party at Six Flags Magic mountain. Everything is covered exept 1 problem. I live in West Sacramento and it will take us 7-9 hours to get there. My birthday is gonna be in 1 1/2 weeks, so I didn’t tell my dad yet. The only thing I told him was if he would be too tired to drive to LA (in case u dont know, thats where magic mountain is located) and he said yes, I will be very tired. I asked: what about if we included some stops and beaks? he said: if we have stops and breaks, it will take us about 15 hours to get there. Now what do I do???

This is the plan: On Thursday, we have the whole day to get to the nearest hotel to magic mountain. I forgot wat is was called, probably The Garden Hilton Inn. idk. On Friday we r going to magic mountain. At the end of the day, we go back to the hotel. On Saturday, we go back home.

Plz help!!! What do I do now???

I’m 14 going on vacation with my parents to California. I have never been before, but my dad lived there so her knows alot, but he wants me to research what I wanna do on the trip. We are going to San Francisco, San Jose area (visiting family), LA Area, Santa Monica, and I’m not sure where else. I am open to going almost anywhere in the state, so if you know of anything cool let me know!

Hello, my name is Tim, I’m 16, and I live in northern California. Summer vacation has just started for me. I have problems with my mental state though I can be happy, and I’m usually nice to others but I can be really bipolar and have a bad temper at times, but I don’t do anything bad really.

I’m wondering, do you think a teenager who may have some problems like out of touch of reality and whatnot would be happier with a job? I’m sure most of you know that CA’s economy sucks and is hard to find a job, but I’ll try to find one, and my dad may help me find one in a chemical plant he works at.

I wouldn’t have too much of a problem with socializing with others in job though I can be a little slow and may stutter, but that’s it. I think having a job may build my confidence and may make more of a purpose for me rather than a weird kid who just sits on his computer. People say I’m talented and funny but I don’t know if that’ll help with the job.

My parents are taking my husband, my baby(who will be just shy of four months), and me to Disneyland and some other CA attractions. I need tips on going with an extremely low budget(they are paying for it, but aren’t very well off, just determined to go!), and making life a little easier being there with a baby. We will be stopping in Las Vegas on the way and probably spending the night. It is about 19 hours in a car both directions. The biggest help I need is with bringing food to prevent eating out. However, any tips would be WONDERFUL!
The family joke is that Disneyland is our "Mecca", we have to go as often as we can. The reason my dad is so determined to go is because he wants to go with the whole family(my brother(16) and sister(15) are going as well) around the time each grandchild is born. We don’t do many family vacations besides camping, but Disneyland is a constant! So I’m not too worried about my baby not remembering this trip because we have always gone at least once every five years or so(once when my brother was only one month old!).
I’m also BFing. And it’s not like we are doing a daytrip to Disneyland. This is going to be like, a ten day vacation involving Disneyland, the beach, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, and I don’t know what else yet.

My dad is visiting. I am a single mom of a f-yr old girl. The three of us want to do something interesting for my girl and easy for my dad (he’s not 100% able bodied) we are in the SF Bay area?

I would like to involve both. So far I have a train trip through the redwoods on my list. But I have not been able to come up with any thing else. Day trips?

Ok I dated my high school sweet heart for five years till about a month ago. AWe would alwasy have problems fights and what not but always get back ,,,,,well about a month and a half ago we took a trip to mazatlan mexico to visit her family acompanied by her parents and family members. We had a blast there she showed extreme love and care for me throught out the vacation but as soon as we got back we began to fight again i was here for about a week when she broke up with me and said everything was over over a stupid fight that I was jealous. It was regarding not trusting her she even changed her number just a week after returning from Mexico. I got advice to give her time so I went to visit family members up in northern california for two weeks I tried calling her but the calls would never reach her noone in her family would give her the phone. I was due to come back on a tuesday and the sunday before that tuesday i got a call from my sister telling me she had left with another guy….she ran away from home didnt tell her parents anything (and this is a very conservative family that expects the daughters to leave the house married) and takes off to live with her x before me a x that was with her before I dated her. I know something was not right in the relationship in the last couple months but she covered it up so well in the vacation. As A matter of fact we had our wedding date set for nov 7 of 09 we had a house of my dad that was going to be rented out and we were also picking colors of the house and furniture that week we broke up. My question is can some one act like this with a person and have other plans…? She was more into getting everything ready for the house than I was and all of a sudden she leaves with someone else. Can anyone please give me there opinion of what do you think happend and also what can I do to move one and not think of her all day long its been 1 month since she left her house my sister goes to medical school for nursing with her but I have never seen her since I left up north. I dont know if this matters but her new man is short stubby and is a heavy drinker smoker of marijuana and cocaine user has no job and lives off his parents drug dealing money has no future and is pretty much a low life according to all her friends. What Do you guys think of this problem how can I resolve it and how can I forget her. Another thing her closedt cousin is a good friend of mine and we still ahng out Is That bad thing according to my sister they always text each other in school ( her and my good friend her cousin) and apparently talk about alot of things dont know if hes giving her info or not. Is it that easy to forget someone like she did ? I am so Confused !!!!!!!!!!

I was 16, and I traveled the world, until my parents clashed with each other. My dad is who I live with, and my f****** mom took away my travel dreams from me. I cannot even leave northern California! I want to travel to foreign countries, and she prohibits it. My father can go to prison if I leave! Now that I’m 17, can I go vacation this summer?
