Kitschy motels Monterey area?
http://fhaloanmichigan.org/fha-loan-fraser-mi/ I’m vacationing in the San Francisco/Monterey area and hoping to spend at least one night in an old-school kitschy motel. This doesn’t mean seedy dump, but just well-kept establishment with a leaning towards the 1950’s. A cheesy honeymoon suite would make it even more awesome. I don’t want a luxury spa suite, just retro funny. Anywhere in this area and up through Northern California would be fine. Thanks!

The Madonna Inn is right up your ally. Go online and check it out. It is a short ways away from Monterrey, but this place is unbelievable. Each room has a theme. There most popular room is the caveman room. Again unbelievable and very famous. BTW, there is no connection to the singer. This place was around before she was born.
