Good California Vacation Destinations?
Nakhchivan My fiance and I have an 8 month old daughter, and we’re trying to find good places to visit in California for vacation during the winter season (aside from Lake Tahoe, which we visited last year). We currently live in L.A. county, but would like to see some new places. Our daughter will be a year old by the time we take this vacation. What are some good vacations for our little family to take and have a good time?

Perfect time of year to visit Death Valley National Monument. Beautiful and so different. Don’t go in the summer. Extremely hot.

Yosemite Valley.
Big Bear Lake is nice during the winter months. There are a few festivals going on and the ski resorts are nice. It’s about 2-3 hours away from LA depending on where you live. If you take Hwy 330 it’s a scenic drive but Hwy 38 is quicker.
